I am a business psychologist with a Masters degree in Occupational (Industrial/Organizational) Psychology. My professional qualification focused on the scientific study of behavior in the workplace and on how knowledge of people can improve all aspects of the business world from a human resources perspective. Applications of my profession in the world of work include staff recruitment, employee development,  outplacement services and career counseling.

For the past nine years, I have worked in the human resources consulting field specializing in assessment for selection and recruitment of staff at the beginning of the employee lifecycle and in career transition at the other. My work in these areas has involved screening hundreds of résumés and cover letters from a range of applicants at all levels of seniority from entry-level to executives and managers. I have first-hand knowledge of the common errors made and the reasons recruiters can dismiss an application as unsuitable. Having also interviewed hundreds of candidates for positions in a variety of industries ranging from pharmaceuticals and financial services to sales/marketing and administration, I have insider knowledge of what employers and H.R. professionals are looking for. I can coach you on how to effectively answer typical and popular questions at interview and help you to gain confidence in your interview skills by being well prepared.
